I first got the inspiration for this product when I was in welding school. I was working my first welding job and the fumes from the welding and burning paint were just too much for me. I looked into a professional grade PAPR system and quickly realized they were out of my price range. While this unit DOES NOT have the same capabilities as a PAPR, it was much more affordable and most certainly helped keep me cooler under the helmet!
The FunkFlo air circulation system is designed to help create airflow through a welder's helmet.
Designed from durable ABS plastic and is intended to be clipped to the user's waist/ belt.
Features a 40mm ball bearing fan that can be adjusted via the fan speed control knob
Includes a 6 ft. long air hose which can be used as is or trimmed to length and secured with the provided zip tie.
Choose between the wide mouth or small mouth helmet side adapter for a more diffused or more direct flow of air. Get both for an extra $10!
Comes with 5 replacement carbon fan cover pads.
Powered by 3 18650 lithium ion batteries so you don't run out of juice half way through your shift (Just make sure you plug it in at the end of the day!)
Power circuit includes over-charge, over-discharge, and short circuit protection.
